During the evening of February 17th, we were heading to the restaurant for dinner. Due to the hotel being quite large and our rooms at a different building, we were quite lost because there is no obvious signage.

We walked past a male staff member who is quite slim, he was taking two other guests on a tour of the hotel and to our surprise completely ignored us even though we looked like we were lost.

After another staff member told us where to take the elevator, we met them in the same elevator where they were heading to the restaurant too. The staff member did not hold the door for us as it was closing but actively pressed the closing button! This is absolutely disgusting and very disrespectful.

He did not apologize and continued to ignore us while chatting cheerfully with the other guests. After we arrived on the floor he did not let us out first and went out first. I have never seen a member of staff in any five star hotel being this rude.

We are regular guests of Four Seasons hotels and this hotel is nowhere close to the Four Seasons standard. The absolute worst. We will re-evaluate our perception of the brand after this shocking stay.
Thanks for sharing. Likely opening woes and apparently lack of judgement in staffing / final interviews. Share with the team and appropriate channels (Medalia). Takes some time for them to get it right, although should not happen.

One isolated incident, although very regrettable does not speak for entire hotel -- how is the hotel otherwise? Service?

Hope rest was better!
