We're looking at July 5th. I've checked southwest does not go through Seattle ever and they don't do direct flights. Also 3 kids first time flyers are not a good idea on southwest because of open seating. I have an Austin child, an adhd one and one with social anxiety. Per southwest rules the 2 oldest can preboard but it'd leave an 11 yr old boarding alone and wherever a seat wad avail. So delta where I pick our seats is my only option. But I've had to wait for tax return to book and the prices tripled this last week on delta except for the short layover one.
southwest comes out to more than the delta one with theyre extra fees. So does alaska
