I got this resolved through Internet chat (FB Messenger) just a couple days ago. The rep asked me a couple of questions to verify my account and then unlocked my account - I was able to log in after that without issue.
Maybe this is just me - but I absolutely hate reaching out to Customer Service by phone and will do everything to avoid it.
