I just had this menu out of JFk and it was one of the best AF meals in J that I’ve had from an outstation. The lobster starter was fresh and high quality. And the prime rib was delicious, and cooked to the perfect texture. YMMV as I guess it depends on how long they leave it in the oven. But on my last flight it was excellent. Also the move to just one desert seems to have led to a quality improvement overall.

I don’t think you’ll have much luck asking for leftovers but I’ve never tried!

-prime rib of beef, demi-Glace sauce with thyme, sautéed mushrooms and vegetables

-sautéed shrimp, lobster and tarragon sauce, spinach, red rice

Also, this is my first time flying J with a European airline. Am I able to ask for a second pass of any of the full meal (starter, entree, etc)?
