If UA needs confirmation from Chase,
they should get it from Chase - as they have for every other customer who participated in the promo. No where in the T&C do I read that you are required to do anything.
I would send a complaint to UA’s executive offices explaining this. Hopefully they have a better understanding of their T&C.
If that doesn’t work, I would file a DOT complaint. That, too, might get the request forwarded to a more competent CS group responsible for reviewing DOT complaints.
It looks like I may face a similar issue soon as I am still waiting for the fulfillment of a
UA Q4 spend promo- others have reported that hey have received the bonus miles. Needless to say I won’t partake in future UA credit card promos if they aren’t capable of processing them.
