On a similar note... I am flying tomorrow DUB-LHR-GRU in PE, all flights ticketed with BA but with the DUB-LHR portion of the trip on EI metal.
A couple of questions:
1) The travel agent has booked using my pre-saved BAEC account. Can I ask at the check in desk tomorrow to link the flights to my AerClub account? I have done the math and I should be earning an additional 4,000+ avios with the EI distance based chart vs the avios per pound approach from BA
2) Will I earn any Tier point with AerLingus on the DUB-LHR portion of the trip that is on EI metal or not because I have a BA flight number? If not, maybe I should consider using the QR account...
