I like the assumption that less experience travelers would stop at a sky club instead of going all the way to E7. As an experienced , Delta flyer out of Atlanta I’m not getting to the airport an hour early just to go to the centurion lounge (I realize that makes me unusual, but, I think it’s kind of strange. Let’s get to the airport extra early to go to the special lounge and hang around there).


but I do sometimes get to my gate early and I get to listen to the creative excuses flyers come up with on why they missed their connection. My personal favorite is always people who claim their connections were late while clutching a Chick-fil-A bag in their hands. I wonder how sympathetic gate agents are going to be to “I had to go all the way to E7 to see the new fancy lounge and I didn’t have time to go from A to E7 and back to B in 30 minutes but I did it anyway. “
