I don't think that will count if you're interested in double TPs. It has to be quoted as one inclusive price for it to count as a qualifying BAH, AFAIK.
The idea here is during the booking process, book FLIGHT+CAR, then add HOTEL, then delete CAR. The result is you checkout with FLIGHT+HOTEL but with a hotel that the software was not letting you select otherwise.
So I can't see how there would be a problem with this.
