Just to summarise my case, before I seek everyone's input:
1. 2nd Sept 2023 to 2nd Jan 2023 is my 4 Month status challenge. I managed to clock 21k miles during end of Nov 2023.
2. My expiry is now extended by 8 month to 2nd Sep 2024.
3. Since i have clocked more than 15k miles, my status is protected, and it will be extended again to 2nd Sep 2025.
Here is my question,
Q1: In Dec 2024, i will clock about 21k miles, assuming I am no adding any more miles to it, when it comes to 2nd Sep 2025 renewal, if based on 1 year period of clocking 25k miles to maintain status, I would have failed (since they will look at Sep 2024 to Sep 2025). Or will they look at the 2 years period (Sep 2023 to Sep 2025) where we need 37.5k miles in order to maintain status?
Q2: Assuming status is maintained again from 2nd Sep 2025, will it for a period of 2 years or 1 year?
