Hi all,

I booked some Economy tickets on Lufthansa and Air China metal using Mileageplus points. There are some 8-9 hour legs to/from Frankfurt and Beijing or Chengdu. When I look on the United App, it says “meals are not offered on these flights” on Air China. Are there really no meals on a 9 hour flight, or is the App wrong? Do I have to buy food separately on Economy tickets?

Incidentally, for 8-9 hour flights on Lufthansa metal, the App says “check with operating airline”.
