Wife and I are returning to Chicago on J awards: ATH-IST-ORD. Connection time is 2 hours and 10 minutes. I was thinking of contacting TK and asking if we could be booked in J on an earlier flight which leaves ATH at 3:05 AM and lands at 5:25 AM at IST - this would increase the connection time to 8 hours.

1. To make the change would TK have to cancel the entire booking and create a new one? If yes, will that result in a much higher miles price?

2. Is it better to email a Sales office? Any recommended locations?
