I called United and they combined or merged the two numbers so that my existing number is still the number and I have and my existing miles, but the card is going to have my shortened first name Randy not my full legal first name which is one of the two spellings I’m not gonna mention which here.

The United Mileage Plus account has my full first name as do my IDs and passport, but can my Chase card connected to my United mileage account have my shortened first name and everything will still be fine with miles and reward?
