Do they? UA is supposed to in theory, but I can't even get UA to interline between to UA tickets. AC used to allow interlining, but stopped sometime last year if I recall correctly. The only other time I tried to interline was with TK and they weren't happy with it either.
Seems the concept of interlining baggage is slowly fading away.
Let's be clear that we are talking about interlining on seperate tickets. AC will still throughcheck bags to AS on a single ticket and vice versa.
For connections to many airlines this is a big deal, but thankfully AC and AS have been much less draconian in restrictions on end on end ticketing.
