Similar to above posters, I had a quick overnight stay as part of a layover between flights and as I was staying on Chinese New Year weekend rates were higher than usual (I paid 5.5k THB on a welcome offer rate incl. breakfast, welcome drink, 3k points and shuttle transfer (not sure if they normally charge for the shuttle) that even our corporate rate couldn't beat this time. Lower price than the ageing Novotel, bit not as convenient/ close of course.

As I'm only a regular member (not a Marriott loyalist) I got a quiet room facing the residential area behind the hotel as I wanted something away from the road. Room as shown by others above, new, decent size, nothing bad, nothing awesome, does the job well.

Breakfast was plentiful though very packed and of good overall quality. Not luxurious, but entirely adequate for such an offering in SE Asia. I tried the Spa for a back and shoulder massage which is Thai style (expect to be bend and twisted a bit) and was very affordable at 750 THB.

I had reserved the shuttle both ways, but never used it as the once an hour timing can mean a long wait to the time you actually need and I didn't want to wait 45mins at the aurpoyin the heat. Took a Grab both ways, cost around 200 THB each time.
