That would be a bummer if a breakfast limit was just implemented. I wrote in my trip report a few weeks ago that all breakfast charges, including the delivery and service fees, were taken off of the final invoice.

I booked via Amex FHR and the welcome paper said there was a $60 breakfast credit. I remember asking at check in what would happen if we went over that amount and their response was that the Globalist benefits would then take over and cover the rest of the bill.

For two people at the end of January:
$93.33 + $5 tip (room service is expensive lol)
$77.04 + $5 tip (to go)
$53.88 + $10.12 tip (dined in)
