The best possible B777 is the B772, all the same full-flat seat but not with doors. The retrofit standardizes the number of J seats but does not replace them with newer ones AFAIK.
On the B77W you have mostly the same seats, but there are 2 left (without P version) with the very old 2-3-2 angled-flat seats that are all over the system and even sub on B77W routes sometimes.
OK thanks for the heads up. I guess I'll stick with the B772 and not switch to the B77W. And just so I can torture myself more, how much better is the AF a359(older seats) than the B772? I flew that in J last year and rather enjoyed it. I was hoping for my wife to experience it as well this August, but I guess she'll have to settle for the B772 (until the next equipment change
