I had mine and it wouldn't. They were all greyed out even though they showed as free on the preview. Exit row seats would show but for a hefty cost. Maybe if I had booked without selecting the seat I could have added it later, but at booking stage at least, it was not an option for free (I tried multiple times and multiple flights).
