A few notes on EK Travel to our part of the world -

LHR - DXB will be operated by 777 and 330. Not sure which type is better ?

Make sure you fly DXB - SYD and on to auckland. This is because these flights have the A345 which is the new aircraft type with flat J seats. In addition the airbridge in AKL that EK can use is for the A345 from/to Sydney. In SYD you can use the Air New Zealand International Lounge - the best in the NZ network.
