Since when has a "meal" option from the menu been a special meal. Especially when you can pre-order a meal.
I'll also add, this menu for a D1 flight is nowhere near as good as my recent domestic F flights.
Here's the menu:
BEEF SHORT RIB / smokey tomato jus, Carolina stone ground grits, carrots, parsnips
SMOKED CHICKEN RAVIOLI / tomato cream, roasted vegetables, Parmesan
ARUGULA SALAD WITH BURRATA / roasted Roma tomato, olives, spicy tomato dressing.
Served with grain salad.
"Limited Selection"SIMPLY PREPARED ROASTED CHICKEN / cilantro quinoa, sweet potato, corn, roasted tomato Entree is designed without the 9 major food allergens but cannot be guaranteed 100% allergen free.
FYI: the Simply Prepared Roasted Chicken isn’t the standard dietary meal. It’s a limited option that many people on the Delta Diamond Medallion FB group seem to enjoy and comes out consistently well done (not dry).
