Downtown is great for sight-seeing and so, but I'd never pick it for a first time experience in Mexico City. Great architecture and so, but go easy to introduce yourself to the city.
So worth giving up the redemption value for Circulo and go for a easier/access location/hotel? I will be in Mexico City for 7 nights, so 2 nights I can stay in Roma as well. Just wanted the best situation and money for the points. I can also just pay cash for all 7 nights in Isabel.
Edit; does anyone know why Circulo has such a low redemption? 133k at 400/night for 5 nights higher than the average stay (140k at Isabel). So either it's too new or people don't want to stay there.
