My statement just closed and I purchased 3 flights as a PP with my Silver AA card. Will fly 1 leg before the end of the month but the others are future tix. I got a simple loyalty point for the purchases but was hoping the “extras” counted as loyalty points. Needed to say I was disappointed to see only 8K+ loyalty points posted today but got 21K miles.
All charges on all AA credit cards, both Citi and Barclays, have always been just 1 LP per dollar spend.
Any bonus multipliers that certain cards come with, like 2x miles on AA spend or restaurants, etc., have always been just additional bonus miles and not LP's.
