Not too sure where to pose this question but yesterday I had a big panic. I joined Finnair and just happened to go into my booking for my forthcoming BA flight on Sunday to notice that my BAEC number has been replaced with an AY one but more importantly it then showed no Avios and no Tier Points. Quick call to the excellent Gold line and all sorted. However my question is...... what happened?
