Bear in mind flashy priority tags that airlines add to bags are useless in and of themselves, and were created to make those loyal customers in premium cabins feel special. What tells the baggage system to load bags to allow for a faster arrival delivery is all in the barcode and usually the bad tag itself will have 'Priority" in small print to remind check in agents to attach the vanity priority tag, usually orange or yellow.
I wonder why they use Short/Long transfer tags.
