I agree with much of what you said and especially the benefits of having top tier in two programs.

but I disagree on on board service. There are some great BA crews. But a lot that are well meaning and incompetent. And overall BA crews are far less efficient. On a long day F flight, sure I’ll go with BA. On a short overnight TATL, I’ll take a UA crew any day of the week.
