But it does open early. And he can hang in FL til 1am. Or even later if he tries to just hide in FFD or the last room before FFD.

Had a 5 hour delay Saturday and I just took out my blanket , flat sheet and pillow and slept 2.5 hours uninterrupted on the long couch like seat in the middle of the private room before FFD.
With my example, there is no way QF will be closed at that time. I’ll still have a few hours before QF 12/94 departs. So can I access QF even if my AA flight is the following day at 5 AM? What if it leaves at 7 AM?
