In my 37 years as a federal government employee, I consistently found my government CTO to be useless. For example, I was scheduled to fly on 9/11/01. When it came to rescheduling that trip once air traffic was allowed, my CTO wouldn't lift a finger to help me rebook, because in their words, "your trip has begin, talk to the airline." Same thing happened on my very last flight as a Fed.

The UA government desk never let me down.
