Whether it has an international segment or not is irrelevant - IF the ticket is issued by DL in basic eco, then having an international segment will not help in this case. If not, then there might be a way, since booking AF/KLM eco light is not exactly the same (depends on whom you ask, the lounge dragon or someone here). Of course, other SkyTeam airlines' lounges follow the regular SkyTeam rules, we are only talking about SkyClubs in this situation.
SkyClubs might not be the fanciest, but they are a significant step above AA Admirals Clubs and UA Clubs. Go to the new SkyClub at ORD and have a look sometime. It's pretty solid. I am curious to see if the new D1 Lounges can compare to Flagship/Polaris lounges, but that's another discussion for another thread.
