I wonder if the celebrities themselves have seen the stories or even know that such a story is published. Maybe the company writing these stories for AA has asked the celebrity's agent that they can use his/her name and some PR shots but rest of the "when I go to ABC I stay at XYZ because they have these lovely king size beds and Martha Stewart linen..." is pure fiction.

It is a pity that American wastes such a good opportunity to share some useful information with their passangers. Browsing the magazine is about the only thing you can do during the flight because you cannot make your laptop fit on the tray and $5 for headphones (or beer for that matter) is simply pathetic. Even on international routes, c'mon.

Unfortunately I haven't recently had chance to read Lufthansa's Magazine but I got the impression that they actually put some interesting and real content in it. Nothing beats germans' skills in technical writing and that shows even in this magazine. Detailed descriptions how some parts of the plane work (which AA mechanics should also read) or how the airports operate (well ..., you know who should read) were very interesting and educating. And juztz für fun, I used to read even the German language version, ausgezeichnet.
