Thanks both. What year is your passport issued? Mine is from 2016, and it does have the biometrics chip, but I notice that many people have newer passports with a QR code sticker, so maybe they have a newer chip. I am wondering if mine just doesn't work with their kiosk. If that's the case I will just keep avoiding clear.
