I can see that many people are crazy about Marrakech, Churchill (who definitely travelled a lot) was too, for example. Whilst I found it interesting, I didn't really get that big spark.
I agree with you. I loved amanjena, but personally I did not fall for Marrakesh the way I fell for places like Siem Reap, Java. Perhaps I’ve discovered it too late.
I will say the Atlas Mountains are stunning. The topography is phenomenal. I recommend exploring less known retreats like Olinto - truly peaceful.
