So contrary to the comments of some others, in my experience LH pulled out all the stops to get the pax and bags from the late MAN on board LH778, and rather than being inconvenienced by this, the rest of us on the upper deck were really impressed. We had a lovely crew and a great flight and I'm sure I wasn't the only one who sent in complimentary feedback.
Thanks for the feedback and it's always good to get real-world observations, especially positive ones which is nice to see.
However, I do not trust LH to operate competently or do the right thing (similarly with BA, AF, KL etc...) so I think will stick to the closer to (but not) perfect Middle Eastern or Asian airlines for my own travel / recommendations to others.
