If you have to pay for private transfer already, might as well pay a few extra dollars and make it an excursion.
I did a private tour with motu lunch from St Regis to Conrad, both properties only charged my one way boat fare. I still get the welcome necklace when I arrive, so not missing out there. The tour company said even a shared tour can carry our luggage and pick up from one hotel and drop of at another, but you should confirm with them.

I was planning on renting a Pontoon boat one day during the Conrad stay but could switch the date to our transfer day? Will reach out to the boat company, hopefully that day is available they offer motu hotel pickup and dropoff for a fee. (La Plage)
