I was just pointing out that you could fly this 11 times at a cost of $1458 and credit to United, then fly roundtrip from Charlotte (CLT) to Norfolk (ORF) for $196 and you'll have United Gold status for $1654 (quite cheap)!
I had provided mileage for Aegean. Aegean requires 12,000 miles and 4 flights on Aegean to maintain Gold status. Somebody could fly this twice and earn 15824 miles, then fly from Madrid (MAD) to Istanbul (IST) for $159 and earn your 4 Aegean segments and 1286 miles, renewing Gold status for $429! An incredible deal!
Thank you! When I had posted this I could find the prices on the Air India website, but they could be correcting the issue by now.
as far as I can see the deal is gone now. I’m in Delhi between 21-25 February and could do some mileage run. Any ideas as to where to look for similar deals? Is it worth doing a city by city google flight search for return business fares with a duration of one day?
