I tend to agree with this arguement... it is the lack of communication, and not being given the option of attaining the extra miles for the P-Plus package before the end of 2004

Perhaps those of us at the Elite level should be thinking... maybe it will be us next year? The gap is huge between 35,000 and 100,000 so it is not unreasonable to expect a mid-level for Elite.
