I'm using Mint Mobile. Last year when in Scotland, I was able to send/receive texts. In fact, once I connected to the hotel web site, I got a text message notification. No charges showed up on my account. I have wifi calling enabled. Also, I get random messages that I am using wifi calling rather than mint lte. I hope that means all is OK.
