Just passed through the Hoboken PATH station and there are now TAPP readers (at least on the lower level leading from the NJ Transit train platforms) that will read a contactless card and mobile pay. Our station in Manhattan still has the regular SmartLink and MetroCard readers.

TAPP is separate from OMNY, so there still isn't a single card solution for both PATH and NYC subways and busses.
