Yes, when the qualification period transitioned in 2022/3 from calendar year to March through February, Loyalty Points accrued in January and February counted for both the then current and the next status earning periods.

Jan/Feb was only "double-dip" for this past year (2022) as the AAdvantage program transitioned to its new calendar and earning structure. To be clear: Jan/Feb 2023 will not count twice for elite qualification.
