We had a super quick trip to Kyoto arriving around 11AM and departing the next day at 5PM so only stayed for one night. It was honestly an amazing experience. We got upgraded to a corner view room on the 6th floor. Highlights were the bar for sunset and Japanese breakfast that we ordered to the room. While the onsen is small, when I went I was the only person in the facilities which was great. The location also cant be beat if you are checking out some of the touristy sights in the Gion area.

We also got super lucky to be in Kyoto while it was snowing!
