The big winner will be ELAL, who have done an excellent deal with Delta, not only in code sharing and connecting flights, but also for recognition of their Frequent Flyer tiers by Delta even for flights not booked via ELAL. They are flying with excellent business class and premium economy products, to London, Paris and to New York direct (which offers many advantages). And even their 738s have reasonably good business class seats - way better than CE if not lie flat. They also offer meals on all these flights, even in economy, and the meals on the 738 are regular long haul meals, not like the cut back CE offering.
