And I don't see this happening anytime soon. If this practice would blatantly violate EU regulations there would be (higher) court decisions already.
But, there are higher court decisions already, which is why I'm perplexed by the inaction by regulatory/ consumer authorities and the continued abuse by the airlines.
Specifically, the Spanish court's ruling that I referenced in the original post.
