My husband was on that flight and texted me yesterday as soon as it landed. I thought he was making a bad joke, then he showed me his gashed bloody hand (he was buckled in, but probably held onto the edge of the tray in a death grip). I guess two of those you mentioned were taken off the plane on stretchers. I hope they’re all OK. I keep myself buckled in on every flight after a similar turbulence experience many years ago. Truly hair-raising.
