without bothering to clarify if that was even an option for the poster or not. It was rather presumptive language/tone. If you had instead asked the poster whether or not they had determined if they might (or might not) have access to an NLL offer as a better alternative then I would not have made the post that I did.

At least to me, the language you used just seemed to assume that NLLs are obviously available to everyone (including the poster you were responding to, without verifying that) and they very much are not.

If your question had been directed at me, my answer would be "of course I'd rather open a new Biz Plat card with NLL and get a boat load more points" but that option is not currently available to me (and believe me, both the wife and I have verified all possible, known paths)
