Well one hemisphere's summer is the other's winter. So applying different seasons to different routes would seem logical, as would any more local factors like religious holidays etc. Not having seen it before doesn’t mean they aren’t doing it. I would be more surprised if they weren't but QR does tend to roll changes out bit by bit and test them live
