Not sure if this is the right thread, but I had an award flight from YVR->SFO->PEK. The YVR to SFO flight was delayed due to weather and when we landed at SFO my SFO to PEK flight had already taken off.

AC already had my new itinerary ready for me when I landed which was nice. They had booked me on a Korean Air flight from SFO->ICN->PEK 10 hours later.

When I went to re-check my luggage at the Korean Air desk they told me that I was not entitled to any free baggage and needed to charge me 100 USD per trip (I only had 1 checked bag). On the updated itinerary which AC sent me it said the checked bags were "free of charge." We went back and forth a bit, but in the end they wouldn't check my bag without paying 200 USD. Ended up paying the amount and decided I'd try to reclaim the amount after. I have the receipt with my booking confirmation for the 200 USD with Korean Air and the updated itinerary from Air Canada with the same booking confirmation stating my checked bags were to be "free of charge."

Do I have any recourse with Air Canada? Or would I contact Korean Air to get this resolved?
