Are you saying you have, for 30 years, gotten this same award? Or any award on the exact date you wanted to fly? If so, you have been a lot luckier than others (incl. yours truly).

You could book a less desirable award now and then keep looking... or let one of the many award search tools do the looking for you. Awards can be canceled/refunded without fee, which is a wonderful benefit.
