Data point…you DO get the upgrade offer on economy tickets that have been upgraded to Z using DL GUCs. In case anyone wondered…
I am Platinum, very well aware of the rule that nobody else can book LP award. My question only was, if there is someone with recent experience that was able to upgrade from award J to LP at the airport. I am aware that it is against the rules since awards are not eligible but I asked about real experience and enforcement.
