I understand the rules, I get that OLCI upgrade wont be offered but I was wondering whether they go soft at the airport in Paris when it is pretty last minute and obvious. I would not be surprised if they actually make the airport upgrade possible on whatever ticket & status you have, if you are willing to pay, which I am.
