Having been had One World status for the past decade, I am now forced by ridiculous pricing on Qatar, BA and MAS to move to Star Alliance, so would like some advice.
My most regular route is LON-KUL, and Turkish appears to have the best route and pricing for this, so it would seem that M&S makes most sense. Just a couple of questions:
- I have a long-haul TAP business class flight booked in March. Can I join M&S and still credit this flight, before I fly my first segment with Turkish?
- How difficult is it to use miles for non-Turkish routes? I don’t fancy going to Turkey. One of the blessings of BAEC was the ability to get very easy and cheap access to EU travel. Being based in LON and having family in CPH this was great, but as SAS are leaving, I am not sure I can use miles for anything sensible.
- Any other thoughts/advice?
