Nope. If you cancel one ticket, you may get lucky and have that seat go back into inventory and be available for you to rebook the second passenger from scratch, but this is not guaranteed - and indeed pretty unlikely, especially if it's been a while since you booked.

Also, QR won't do you any favors; for as good as they are in the sky, their ground handling and reservations are pretty bad.
