Recently back from a two-night stay. Booked an oceanfront bungalow premier suite and was not upgraded further. Ended up in 220 which was angled slightly away from the ocean but still had a spectacular view (see below). Also close enough to the ocean (and quiet enough at the resort overall) to leave sliders open and hear the waves all night. The bathroom had been refreshed but it did not appear the rest of the room had seen improvements(see below). As a globalist was given a voucher for the pool bar and also a day pass to the spa, which did not cover any treatments but allowed access to the jacuzzi which was nice since it rained on our entire hike to Waimoku Falls. At time of my visit the sauna was closed.

Great relaxing stay and I'd happily stay here again to split up the Road to Hana if trying to make all the stops along the way. With two nights at Hana Maui, we did nearly every stop on the way from Wailea to Hana Town day one, from Hana Town on to Haleakala on day two and then finally Waianapapa on day three on the return back to Wailea. Having done this, I probably wouldn't do it any other way as we were able to take our time and enjoy the stops and didn't end up fighting any traffic. I can't imagine trying to do the entire road in one day out and back.

Hana Ranch is now open and ate dinner there one of the nights. The restaurant is still serving breakfast which was quite good but probably not nearly at the level of the Andaz Maui buffet. I will agree that Poke Bobs was the best poke bowl I've ever had. The Wife had Ae's Thai Kitchen and was less impressed than I was with Poke Bobs.
